Lee Colee Studios will be auditioning students ages 9-17 for the 2012 Summer Theatre Bootcamp starting January 2012.  To set up an audition/casting call please email or contact us by phone (512-847-7934). 

Are you a music theatre fan with Big Broadway Dreams?  Lee Coleé Studios invites you to audition for our famous summer music theatre boot camp.  Select cast work in the intense boot camp environment of a professional theatre.  Not for the faint hearted; rehearsals and classes in voice, dance and acting concludes with multiple performances of shows such as Annie, Anything Goes, Phantom of the Opera, Wizard of Oz and more.

The following years have brought sold out runs of Guys and Dolls, Grease, Fiddler On The Roof, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and last year's hit The Music Man. The casts are limited to 35 kids and once they are selected they must learn the whole show before the first day of camp, not knowing which parts they will be playing.

2012 Camp Guest Assistant Director: Kathleen Griffith

Kathleen received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of the Incarnate Word located in San Antonio.  She has starred in plays ranging from “King Lear” to “The Laramie Project” and “Wait Until Dark” to “Perfect Crime” for which her portrayal of Dr. Margaret Brent won her the Dallas theater community’s nomination for Best Actress in a Drama.

Kathleen has worked in both film and television. She recently wrapped her recurring role of Margaret Cafferty on the highly acclaimed television drama “Friday Night Lights.”

She has trained under the tutelage of renowned film acting coach, Michele Condrey, and is thrilled to brig her knowledge of the “Meisner Method” of acting to Lee Colee Studios.
