The A Team is an audition based program comprised of young aspiring professionals 9-17 years old in voice, dance and acting. Striving to become “triple threats,” students work with professional mentors and guest artists in private voice as well as music theory, sight reading, ear training and piano proficiency. Each member of the A Team also studies theatrical tap, jazz and lyrical dance.
Acting fundamentals include audition techniques to “nail the callback” and film/stage protocols. Students build a professional audition workbook used to help land callbacks and college admissions. The “Business of Performing” covers entertainment industry do’s and don’ts. Finally, each student’s classwork is put together in a dvd showreel for future auditions & casting calls.
