Private and group classes are available for children and adults.

Half hour and full hour private lessons are one on one sessions where instruction is given in the fundamentals of voice technique. This involves learning proper and efficient breath control, "placement" techniques for smooth, flexible vocal range and tips for maximum resonance and projection.

Time is also spent on song styling, phrasing, interpretation and other performance techniques. All genres of music are studied, according to the individual student's goals and interests but encouragement is always given to sample the classics and American standards in order to be a well rounded vocalist.

Group classes for both children and adults cover the same curriculum outlined above but with a special emphasis on basics skills such as hearing and matching pitch, identifying rhythms, body awareness and eliminating unwanted tension.

Each semester a student recital is given where each student who is considered ready and prepared will sing two songs in a professional setting. The theme of these recitals will vary according to the genre of music studied that semester (jazz, classical, traditional country, gospel, Broadway, pop).

Students are given opportunities at many of these recitals to sing with live professional musicians.
